Samuel White charged in Twins Food Mart shooting

RACINE (WITI) — Samuel White of Racine has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection with a shooting that occurred at the Twins Food Mart near 16th and Packard on Thursday afternoon, February 28th.

According to police, the 24-year-old clerk and store owner, Bashar Quedan was shot during the incident.

Quedan was transported from the scene to a hospital, and was conscious and breathing at the time of transport. He is said to have non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating whether this was a robbery attempt or some other type of altercation.
