MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Fire crews responded to the scene of a two-alarm house fire near Meinecke Avenue and N. 33rd St. Monday morning, March 4th.

According to officials, the fire turned into a two-alarm after a Lt. fell through a spot in the roof.

Officials say the Lt. was pulled out without injury — but due to weak spots — fire crews went to defensive operations.

Authorities say no one was home when the fire broke out.

No further details have been released at this time — including the cause of the fire or a damage estimate.
