Police investigate robbery at Speedway gas station on Sunset Dr.

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- Waukesha police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Speedway gas station on Sunset Drive in Waukesha early Friday morning, March 15th.

According to police, a suspect wearing a black ski mask entered the store around 12:54 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’6” tall, average build, wearing blue jeans, black hat,  black ski-mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and brown shoes.

Suspect in Subway robbery



Police believe the suspect may be responsible for another robbery that occurred Wednesday, March 13th at the Subway restaurant on Bluemound Rd. According to police, the suspect entered the Subway restaurant, displayed a black handgun in his waistband, and demanded cash.

The employees handed over the money from the cash drawer and the suspect fled on foot.

According to police, the suspect in the Subway robbery has a similar description to the Speedway robbery in Waukesha.
