MILWAUKEE (WITI) —  The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced that the I-794 westbound system ramp to I-43 southbound in the Marquette Interchange reopened Friday, August 16th.

This ramp was previously closed long-term as part of this year’s construction on the I-43 Bridges Rehabilitation Project. Long-term closures of the Mineral Street entrance ramp to I-43 southbound and periodic overnight closures of the Wisconsin Avenue entrance ramp to I-43 southbound are also complete.

Overnight lane and ramp closures are still scheduled to occur for a few more weeks in the project area as crews wrap up this year’s construction.

Motorists are reminded to drive carefully and attentively through all work zones and observe posted speed limits.
