Bright yellow Honda crashes Harley-Davidson block party

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- On Saturday, August 31st, Harley-Davidson lovers gathered at one of three block parties during the 110th Anniversary celebration --  but to their surprise, an unexpected guest showed up.

It was hard for riders to miss the bright yellow Honda in a sea of Harleys. Owner Doug says he's been riding a Honda for 45 years.

"Some people enjoy Fords, some people enjoy Chevys -- I prefer a Honda," said Doug.

While the out-of-place Honda turned heads, Doug says there are no hard feelings from the die-hard Harley fans.

"I haven't run across any animosity from any of the other riders," Doug said.

While a few said they didn't understand why someone would show up at a Harley festival on a Honda, others welcomed Doug with open arms.

"We like folks who ride -- two wheels. As long as you're riding and having a good time, that's what matters," explained one Harley owner.
