Menasha man dies in collision between car, semi in Dodge Co.

DODGE CO. (WITI) — A 29-year-old Menasha man died from injuries suffered in a collision between his car and a semi in the Town of Trenton on Sunday, December 8th. The victim is identified as Jesse Pickett.

Officials say their preliminary investigation shows the car Pickett was driving was eastbound on State Highway 68 just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday when it crossed the centerline on a curve. It then collided with a westbound semi. The semi entered a farm field. The truck was destroyed by fire after the driver was able to safely exit.

Three other people in the car were hurt. They include 30-year-old Misty Pickett of Menasha who suffered serious injuries and two children with non-life threatening injuries.

The truck driver was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
