Patrick Coffey reaches plea deal in wrong-way driving case

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Patrick Coffey -- the former President of Student Affairs at MSOE has reached a plea deal in a wrong-way driving case against him.

Coffey faced several charges for driving the wrong way on I-43/94 for almost 15 miles.

DOT cameras captured part of the dangerous ride.

Police say Coffey's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

On Monday, January 27th, he pleaded guilty to OWI -- his third offense, and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Coffey will be sentenced in April.
