MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A father captured on video the emotional reaction his four-year-old son Jackson had while on a recent drive.

When the father asked if he should change the radio station, the boy said no. The father marveled at how much the song “moved” his son.

That kids a born entertainer. When emotions come out like that it’s the Holy Spirit. When I DJ at times people will cry like that. It’s healing. That’s why he likes it.

The simple piano melody and poignant voice obviously strikes a soft spot in his heart..the words are sad as well. At that age he hasn’t learned to stuff down his emotions. Hopefully a future musician!

don’t be so sure. It’s rarely about the words when a song hits a child or adult like that. my granddaughter, now 7, used to cry as a baby…I think about 18 months old or so, when any sad music (minor keys in particular) was played. Didn’t matter if she were laughing seconds before…when a song like that played, lip quivered, she looked soooo sad, then tears. Music is powerful, lyrics notwithstanding.
