Milwaukee artist paints St. Patrick's Day Parade work of art

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Downtown Milwaukee was packed Saturday morning, March 15th for the Shamrock Club's 48th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

While thousands watched the parade go by, one person waited the entire time for the perfect moment.

Jenny Anderson is a Milwaukee artist who is a "plein air" painter -- that's French for "an artist who works outside."

"You're capturing a moment. You're capturing one second of life that generally just goes by," said Anderson.

As Anderson focused on the parade, many stopped by to see her painting. CLICK HERE to view more of Anderson's work.
