Officials looking for suspect after Post Office near 12th & McKinley robbed

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Postal Inspection Service says officials are looking for the suspect responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, April 16th at the Post Office near 12th and McKinley.

Milwaukee police confirmed with FOX6 News they assisted in the investigation.

It happened around 1:30 p.m.

The Postal Inspection Service says money was taken — but the exact amount is unknown.

No one was injured.

No additional details on this incident have yet been released.

    Umm who robs a Post Office?? That’s going to cost this person BIG TIME if they get caught… Were they not aware that this is a Federal offense? The thirst is real out here… wow…
