Crews called out to two separate crashes on I-43 NB/SB near Brown Deer Road

BROWN DEER (WITI) — Emergency crews were on the scene of two separate crashes on I-43 near Brown Deer Road on Sunday evening, September 28th.

The first involved a semi and a motorcycle and occurred on I-43 southbound near Brown Deer Road.

We’re told the motorcyclist was transported to Froedtert Hospital. That motorcyclist’s condition is unknown.

The right lane of I-43 southbound was shut down as crews worked the crash scene.

Shortly after this crash, we’re told two cars were involved in a crash on I-43 northbound near Brown Deer Road.

North Shore Fire/Rescue says six people suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The cause of these crashes is unknown at this time.
