WAUKESHA (WITI) — The Waukesha Police Department is investigating a crash that occurred Wednesday morning, January 7th.

According to officials, two vehicles collided on Pewaukee Road between Bluemound Road and Northview Road around 8:00 a.m.

Authorities initially said a 51-year-old woman was killed in the crash. Later, they said though the woman did not have a pulse and was not breathing at the scene — “thanks to the extraordinary efforts of medical personnel, a pulse was established.”

The 51-year-old woman is now in the ICU at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
