Executive Order: Governor Walker orders flags be flown at half-staff in honor of Trooper Casper

MADISON (WITI) -- Governor Scott Walker issued Executive Order #154 Thursday, March 26th -- ordering the United States flag and State of Wisconsin flag to be flown at half-staff in honor of Trooper Trevor Casper, who was killed in the line of duty Tuesday.

Governor Scott Walker released the following statement:

Today, we recognize Trooper Trevor Casper for his heroism and remember his dedication to his community.  Trooper Casper served the state faithfully and died protecting fellow citizens from harm.  To honor his selflessness and sacrifice, the flags of the United States and the State of Wisconsin will be flown at half-staff.  Tonette and I are keeping Trevor’s family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. 


Flags will be flown at half-staff at all buildings, grounds, and military installations beginning Thursday and will remain lowered through Tuesday.
