Brewers drop eighth straight game, 2-1

MILWAUKEE -- Brewers owner Mark Attanasio flew into town on Wednesday and wound up seeing the worst team in the major leagues find a new way to lose.  Cincinnati pulled out a 2-1 decision in the ninth inning and will go for a four game sweep on Thursday afternoon.

Jimmy Nelson settled down to allow only three hits and one run over eight innings, but he was gone in favor of Francisco Rodriguez for the ninth inning.  Rodriguez gave up a lead-off walk to speedy Billy Hamilton, who eventually scored from third base on a two-out wild pitch.

Milwaukee has now lost eight games in a row and stands just 2 and 13 on the season.
