SHEBOYGAN (WITI) — Sheboygan police say a 67-year-old man was killed at the Sheboygan Paperbox Company on April 29th.

It happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the business on S. 11th Street.

Sheboygan police say an investigation was conducted with the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the incident has been classified as an accidental death.

The victim, 67-year-old Thomas Vandekreeke had been working in a narrow walkway near the loading dock when a truck exited the loading dock area. As the truck began to maneuver out of the doorway, the trailer impacted the victim — causing his death.

Since the incident involved a motor vehicle in relation to the roadway, the event is being classified as a fatal traffic accident.

No charges will be issued to the driver of the truck in connection with the accident.
