West Allis bank robbery suspect

WEST ALLIS — West Allis police arrested a man they say is suspected of robbing a bank near 101st and Greenfield Ave. on Monday, August 17th.

Officials appealed to the public for answers in this case — and they received a number of tips. On Thursday morning, August 19th, members of the department’s Crisis Response Unit successfully took the suspect into custody.

Investigators with the West Allis Police Department are working with other agencies to determine if other cases are related. This case is expected to be presented for charges late next week.
