MPD: Two teens arrested after being spotted trying to break into home on city’s northwest side

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police arrested two teenagers after they were spotted at a northwest side home trying to break in.

According to police, District Seven officers responded to a home 52nd and Stark around 9:00 a.m. on October 12th for a report of an entry in progress.

The homeowner, a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman, told officers two teenagers were trying to open the windows and gain access to her home.

The suspects were still at the crime scene when officers arrived and ran away when officers told them to stop, but were quickly taken into custody.

The suspects are a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, both from Milwaukee.

MPD will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
