Body of 17-year-old girl missing from Oshkosh recovered from Fox River

OSHKOSH — Oshkosh police say divers have recovered the body of a missing 17-year-old girl from the Fox River.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office told the Oshkosh Police Department that the teen’s body was located Saturday, January 30th at about 3:00 p.m. Her body was found near the area where she was last seen on Tuesday, January 26th.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, February 1st. The teen’s name won’t be released until her family is notified.

Oshkosh police continue to investigate.
