Foreclosed Milwaukee home to be transformed into design & photography business

MILWAUKEE -- There is new life for a once-foreclosed home on Milwaukee's south side.

It's ready to be transformed into a design and photography business, thanks in part to a neighborhood investment program.

Michelle Quinn plans to renovate the existing building into her work studio and personal living space.

The city is partnering with Quinn with a $65,000  grant from the commercial foreclosed property renovation fund.

In addition to the $20,000 purchase price, the new owner is investing her own funds to complete the build-out.

On Tuesday, February 2nd, city leaders handed over the keys to the home near 19th and Morgan.
