Police: Two shot, wounded in two separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday, June 16th.

The first shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. near 32nd and Wells.

Police say a 25-year-old man was shot during a confrontation with a group subjects. The victim conveyed himself to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

MPD continues to search for suspects in this shooting.

The second shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. near 24th and Greenfield.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot during a robbery. He was transported to the hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The victim is expected to survive. MPD continues to seek suspects in this case.
