SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- The Sheboygan Falls mother accused of suffocating her son was in court on Wednesday, August 17th.

27-year-old Katlyn Kinateder has been charged with one count of first degree intentional homicide, and one count of moving, hiding, burying the corpse of a child.

Police testified during a preliminary hearing that  Kinateder suffocated her two-year-old son with a plastic bag. Kinateder told police she was "hearing voices." Officials say she has confessed to killing the child.

Kinateder is now bound over for trial. She is expected to enter a plea to charges on August 29th. Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco has said he anticipates Kinateder will likely plead not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
