MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police arrested two suspects who fled from officers in a car stolen in an armed robbery late on Tuesday, August 16th. But they’re searching for a third suspect.

Officials say the initial carjacking happened around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday  near Teutonia and Atkinson. A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman had her 1995 Honda Accord taken at gunpoint.

Around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, that vehicle was spotted by officers near 27th and Atkinson. The officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver sped off from the scene. A pursuit was initiated and a few minutes later in the neighborhood just south of 32nd and Villard, the Accord drove over the curb into a vacant field and became disabled.

Three people from inside the car fled and two were arrested. Again, Milwaukee police are searching for that third suspect.

The arrested individuals are an 18-year-old Milwaukee man and a 24-year-old Milwaukee man. Officials say the 18-year-old has a lengthy arrest record dating back to 2010 and the 24-year-old is a convicted felon with an arrest record dating back to 2007.

Once the trolley is up and running there will be no need for cars anymore and vehicle theft will be a thing of the past.
Divert all funds to the trolley.

Arrest records back to when they are 12-14 years old…..these are the same idiots who are rioting!! Tell me what type of ‘healing’ or ‘understanding’ is going to change those thugs!?!?! It’s not about the oppression they think they face, or the inequities or lack of jobs – those people have zero education, zero skills, and are simply unemployable. Lock them up and stop them from having kids ASAP!

A 1995 Honda? That’s the only car she could afford (like me) and now it’s probably ruined. The three that stole it have absolutely no respect. 3 of them should have to buy her a new car or at the very least a new-to-her car instead of posting bail. They can sit in jail.

The police should not have arrested them. They should have turned them over to their parents and given a stern warning not to do it again. These kids were just having fun.im sure if community leaders and religious leaders talk to them, they will apologize and change their ways.
