KENOSHA — Eight people escape a house fire in Kenosha early Thursday, October 6th.

The fire broke out in a home on 19th Ave. around 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

Fire officials say it was a small kitchen fire sparked by some cooking materials.

The fire did not spread past the kitchen.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family that lives in the house.
