AT&T cell service outage reported across the Midwest

MILWAUKEE -- Customers using AT&T for phone and internet are experienced outages across the Midwest Friday, October 28th.  Downdetector.com reported customers in Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Cincinnati were having problems.

According to KTVI, replies sent from the AT&T customer service Twitter account, @ATTCares, also confirmed the outage.

Outage Report say the problems began around 4:00 p.m.

KTVI reports AT&T customers who try to make phone calls are receiving either a “Call Failed” message or a recording that the call can’t be completed as dialed.
