MILWAUKEE — Land O’ Lakes on Friday, October 28th donated 40,000 pounds of macaroni and cheese to Feeding American of Eastern Wisconsin.

A semi-truck loaded of macaroni and cheese was delivered at 9 a.m. to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for distribution to area food shelves.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is a food bank that works with a network of hunger relief partners to distribute more than 18.3 million meals a year to 377,000 people in eastern Wisconsin. They have facilities in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley.

    Did everyone forget you can still get a free pound of cheese delivered to your door every month? It is a program that has been going on since the great depression. You have to write the US department of Agriculture. They had an article on here last month about the department of Agriculture throwing about a couple tons of cheese.
