Milwaukee police: 19-year-old man shot, wounded near 46th and Fairmount

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near the intersection of 46th and Fairmount.

Officials say a 19-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and wounded just after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22nd during circumstances yet to be determined.

The victim was driven away from the scene by an acquaintance to the neighborhood near 77th and Villard, where they flagged down police.  From that area, the victim was taken via ambulance to a hospital for treatment of a serious injury.

MPD is seeking suspects.
