Milwaukee police investigate rollover crash near 76th and Appleton; 2 rescued

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that happened early Thursday morning, Aug. 2. Firefighters had to rescue people who were trapped inside the vehicle.

It happened near 76th and Appleton around 1:30 a.m.

Pictures from the scene show the vehicle flipped on its side -- with the roof pinned against a tree.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. It's unclear whether those trapped inside were hurt.
