Police: Man shot, wounded near Appleton and Keefe; no one in custody

MILWAUKEE — A 25-year-old man was hurt in a shooting Wednesday night, May 1 near Appleton and Keefe.

Police said the man was shot in the lower back, and suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

As of Wednesday night, no one had been arrested.

The investigation was ongoing.
