221 COVID-19 deaths in Wisconsin; 4K+ positive cases, 45K+ negative

MILWAUKEE — Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Sunday, April 19 reported 4,346 positive cases of the coronavirus statewide. Of those, 1,190 (27%) have required hospitalization. DHS officials reported 220 deaths in the state, and said 45,323 have tested negative for COVID-19.

Milwaukee County's coronavirus dashboard showed 2,155 positive cases in the county as of Sunday afternoon, and 121 deaths.

Additional cases reported by health officials Sunday brought the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 statewide to 4,398, and the total number of deaths to 221.
