6,399 positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 300 deaths; 3K+ recovered, 61K+ negative



MILWAUKEE -- The number of positive cases of COVID-19 topped 6,000. On Tuesday, April 28 the number of people in the state testing positive for COVID-19 has grown to 6,399. More than 61K have tested negative.

The Milwaukee County coronavirus dashboard showed 2,724 cases and 162 deaths related to the coronavirus in the county.

As of Tuesday, the DHS website noted there were 3,029 cases that were listed as recovered — or about 47% of the overall positive cases.
