1 dead following crash near 12th and Center in Milwaukee; 1 person arrested

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Friday morning, February 24th on the city's north side.

Milwaukee police say around 3:15 a.m., a 33-year-old Milwaukee man was traveling in a vehicle that left the roadway near 12th and Center, struck several objects and was turned over off of its wheels. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man, who was driving a second vehicle involved in the crash, has been arrested.

The investigation is ongoing and Milwaukee police are working to determine what led up to the crash.

Wet road conditions are believed to be a factor.
