13-year-old boy hurt in shooting near 38th and Locust

MILWAUKEE -- A 13-year-old boy was shot and wounded near 38th Street and Locust Street Tuesday night, June 2.

It happened around 9 p.m.

Police said the boy was outside when shots were fired and he was struck -- suffering injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
