MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police say two people are in custody and they are seeking a third person involved in a shooting that happened at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, located near 6th and Wisconsin, early Monday, June 28.
Officers were dispatched to the hotel shortly before 1 a.m. They say the shooting victim, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered non-fatal injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Hilton Milwaukee City Center issued the following statement:
"We are grateful to MPD for their swift response to this isolated incident between a hotel guest and individuals they invited to their room. We are fully cooperating with MPD’s investigation. There is no danger to our other guests and the hotel is fully operational."

It is unclear what led to the shooting.

Earlier shooting in Milwaukee
A few hours earlier, around 10:30 p.m., a shooting happened near 1st and North. The victim, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained non-fatal injuries. The victim arrived at a local hospital for treatment. It appears the shooting is a result of an argument. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
