2 women stabbed near Fratney and Meinecke in Riverwest neighborhood, MPD says

MILWAUKEE -- Two women were stabbed near Fratney and Meinecke on Milwaukee's east side late Saturday night.

Police say the incident happened around 10:20 p.m. on Dec. 21. Both victims were taken in for surgery with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities are investigating what prompted the stabbings.
