GREENFIELD -- Greenfield police say a 22-year-old Franklin man was killed when he became pinned under a vehicle near 55th and Forest Home Tuesday, August 2nd.
It happened just after noon.
Police say citizens assisted officers in lifting the vehicle off the man, and officers and paramedics then began life-saving measures.
Unfortunately though, the 22-year-old Franklin man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation has revealed the man was in the process of changing a tire on a vehicle, when the tire jack apparently malfunctioned -- which then caused the vehicle to fall down on top of the man.
The man hasn't been identified due to the fact that all of the appropriate notifications have not been made.
