22-year-old Juneau man flown to the hospital after two-vehicle crash in Hustisford
DODGE COUNTY (WITI) -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials say a Juneau man had to be taken to the hospital via Flight for Life following a crash in the Town of Hustisford on Wednesday morning, January 14th.
It happened on State Highway 60, west of County Highway shortly before 10:00 a.m.
A preliminary investigation shows a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Robert McLaughlin of West Bend was headed west on State Highway 60 when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Michael Scholze of Juneau headed east on State Highway 60 crossed the center line and collided with McLaughlin's tractor-trailer.
McLaughlin was wearing his seat belt and wasn't injured.
Scholze wasn't wearing his seat belt, Sheriff's officials say. He was flown to the hospital from the scene. His condition is unknown.
Sheriff's officials say there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
