27-year-old Beaver Dam woman arrested during traffic stop, officials say she's a "major drug dealer"
DODGE COUNTY -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials on Monday, November 14th arrested a 27-year-old Beaver Dam woman who they say is a "major drug dealer."
The woman was arrested following a traffic stop in Beaver Dam -- taken into custody on charges of manufacturing/delivery of heroin as party to a crime, manufacturing/delivery of cocaine as party to a crime, and delivery of a counterfeit narcotic drug as party to a crime.
According to Dodge County Sheriff's officials, the woman is known to have operated her drug distribution ring from several locations throughout the Beaver Dam -- including Lakecrest Drive, Rosendale Street and the Shoe Factory Apartments on N. Spring Street.
The numerous sale of these drugs took place in common public locations throughout Beaver Dam.
Sheriff's officials say the woman had several associates working for her in her drug distribution business and officials are working to bring them to justice as well.
Sheriff's officials are calling this arrest "a major break in supply of these dangerous and deadly drugs to our community." They said: "While there is no doubt that we still have a great deal of work ahead of us, we are confident that we have removed a major player from our streets. The Dodge County Drug Task Force will continue to work hard to identify and remove dealers of these poisons."
