29-year-old Milwaukee man taken into custody following robbery at Greenfield bank
GREENFIELD -- A 29-year-old Milwaukee man with a lengthy criminal background was arrested after he allegedly robbed a U.S. Bank located on S. 27th Street in Greenfield.
The robbery took place shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 3rd.
According to Greenfield police, officers responded to the area of the bank and were informed by residents that the suspect had started running eastbound on W. Bolivar Avenue.
Officers caught up with the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident.
The money stolen from the bank was recovered.
No one was injured.
Police say the 29-year-old Milwaukee man who was arrested has a lengthy criminal history. He may also be involved in other robberies that occurred in the Milwaukee area.
