3 found dead in New Lisbon residence

An investigation is underway after three people were found dead inside a residence in New Lisbon on Monday, Dec. 30.

NEW LISBON, Wis. - An investigation is underway after three people were found dead inside a residence in New Lisbon, Wisconsin on Monday, Dec. 30. 

A person of interest in the investigation has been identified as 47-year-old Virgil Thew.

Virgil Thew

Thew is described as a male, white, 5'10" tall, and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored down coat and hat. 

Thew is currently wanted through Wisconsin Probation and Parol. Police say Thew should be considered armed and dangerous and law enforcement asks that if you see him, do not confront or approach him.
