3 Milwaukee Public Schools closed Friday due to threat

French Immersion School 

Three Milwaukee Public Schools will be closed on Friday, April 5 after a threatening message was received.

Out of an abundance of caution, Milwaukee French Immersion School, Groppi High School and HI-Mount Community School were closed while the situation is investigated. 

Police say the school was searched and nothing was located. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.

"The safety of our students and staff is our top priority," said MPS.
