30th annual Candy Cane Lane 'lights up' for the 2015 holiday season
WEST ALLIS -- Thanksgiving Day is in the rear view window, and the holidays are in full swing in West Allis. The 30th annual Candy Cane Lane has officially 'lit up' for the season!
Each season, the West Allis neighborhood bounded by Oklahoma to Montana Avenues, and 92nd to 96th streets, is transformed into a festive holiday lights display called, "Candy Cane Lane."
People from all over the Midwest take a drive or stroll through the uniquely decorated neighborhood while getting into the holiday spirit.
The free event runs from Friday, November 27th through Friday, December 27th.
Although the event is free, drivers can stop at the corner of 95th and Manitoba to make a donation -- all the proceeds benefit the MACC Fund.
