34-year-old Milwaukee man arrested for 4th OWI

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 34-year-old Candido Silva of Milwaukee was arrested Sunday, May 12th for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, fourth offense.

Silva was stopped by a Racine County Sheriff's Deputy around 9:19 p.m. on westbound I-94 near Ryan Road for unsafe lane deviation.

Field sobriety tests were conducted on Silva and it was determined that he was operating under the influence.

Silva refused to provide a sample of his blood. A search warrant was obtained from a Milwaukee County judge for a forced blood draw.

Silva was held at the Milwaukee County Jail for OWI 4th offense within five years. Additional
charges included operating after revocation OWI related and unsafe lane deviation.
