WEST BEND -- A 37-year-old West Bend man was arrested for his 8th OWI on Monday, December 21st.
According to West Bend police, an employee from Glacier Hills Credit Union called police around 2:45 p.m. after observing a man drive onto the lot and look like he was sleeping in a running vehicle.
When an officer arrived on scene, he observed the 37-year-old male driver from West Bend was intoxicated.
The officer arrested the man for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. This was the man’s 8th arrest for OWI.
He has previous convictions for OWI from 03/97, 10/99, 11/99, 10/00, 11/01, 01/02, and 12/06.
During the investigation the officer also found the man was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The 37-year-old man is in the Washington County Jail.
