4-year-old girl creates care packages for Germantown police officers

GERMANTOWN -- A young girl is helping make a difference in the lives of Germantown police officers. Four-year-old Ava Bergmann, put together 32 survival kits to show her appreciation for their service on Saturday, July 23rd.

Ava said she wanted to create the packages for police after learning about the events in Dallas, Baton Rouge, and here in Milwaukee.

Ava's mother, Heather, says her daughter is very into crafting, which is why she chose to make something special to give back to police.

As you can see, the officers of the Germantown Police Department were very appreciative of Ava's kind gesture!
