8-twelve to open second restaurant at Bayshore Town Center
GLENDALE (WITI) -- SURG Restaurant Group will open another 8-twelve MVP Bar & Grill at the Bayshore Town Center.
The new restaurant will be located where COA currently operates. COA is expected to close on Sunday, June 30th.
SURG co-owner Omar Shaikh tells Wendy Strong of The Business Journal that he and his partners, including Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, were interested in Bayshore because of its high-profile location and visibility from the street. Shaikh also said they wanted to open a restaurant more convenient for their North Shore customers.
"We're thrilled to have 8-Twelve join our lineup of restaurant offerings," said David Moss, general manager at Bayshore Town Center. "Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgersare at the top of their respective games, and having 8-twelve at Bayshore keeps us at the top of our game, which is providing our guests with a high-quality shopping, dining and entertainment experience."
The original 8-twelve is located on Bluemound Rd. just west of Calhoun in Brookfield. Like the Brookfield location, the Bayshore restaurant will use locally-sourced food. It also will have private dining rooms for business evens, and a bar.
