A new home for Bow Tie: Beloved deer shoulder mounted at Wehr Nature Center
MILWAUKEE -- Bow Tie the deer has a new home.
The white-tailed deer was poached in the Menomonee River Parkway in December.
With support from donors, Bow Tie was shoulder mounted at the Wehr Nature Center in Whitnall Park. Staff will use Bow Tie in educational programs for school children.

"It's going to serve a purpose as far as educating the public on what wildlife is about, the white-tailed deer, and also about hunting and what the right and wrong way of hunting is," John Dargle, director of the Milwaukee County Parks System said.
Many people in the community had appreciated watching and photographing the 11-point buck with the unusual Bow Tie marking.
