After fire, Sherwin Williams donates paint, other items to agency that helps low-income homeowners
WAUWATOSA -- After Sherwin Williams' store in Wauwatosa caught fire on August 4th, the company turned their misfortune into an opportunity to assist "Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee - RTGM."
Crews responded to the Sherwin-Williams store near N. 67th Street and W. North Avenue just after 6 a.m. on August 4th.
After the fire, Sherwin Williams donated their entire inventory of paint and sundry items from the store to RTGM.
These supplies will be used to restore client’s homes.
RTGM officials are now saying thank you to Sherwin Williams and also to Belfor Property Restoration for the donated transportation, packing, loading and unloading of the paint and supplies to the RTGM warehouse.
Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee (RTGM) uses these donations and others like it to provide free, professional home restoration, safety repairs and life-changing accessibility modification for low-income homeowners who are senior citizens, veterans and/or persons with disabilities.
