Ann Romney to make campaign stop in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE -- Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, is expected to speak on the Marquette University campus Thursday.
Marquette University's College Republicans helped organize Thursday's Ann Romney rally.
"We're excited to have Ann Romney here. This is a really great launching point for students to hear the conservative message to hear what's going on in Wisconsin," Stephanie Marecki with Marquette College Republicans said.
On the heels of her speech at the Republican National Convention, organizers hope Ann Romney will send a message to youth.
"The College Republicans are committed to making sure that young college students get the Republican message of limited government, smaller government, lower taxes and opportunities," Patrick Garrett with Marquette College Republicans said.
The doors open for Ann Romney's event at 9:30 a.m. and the event begins at 11:30 a.m.
