The criminal complaint in this case indicates a witness told police he observed Anthony and Darvin Trigg, who are brothers, fighting on Sunday, August 4th.

That witness told police he observed Darvin Trigg take a small plastic white bag from Anthony Trigg, which he believed to be crack cocaine -- telling police he knows the brothers to be drug dealers in the neighborhood, according to the criminal complaint.

Anthony Trigg asked for "his dope" back, but Darvin Trigg refused.

That's when a physical altercation ensued, during which Anthony Trigg struck Darvin Trigg in the face with a backpack, according to the criminal complaint.

The witness told police it appeared as though there was something hard inside the backpack, because as soon as it hit Darvin Trigg, he was knocked unconscious.

The witness said there was a "loud boom" as Darvin Trigg's head hit the concrete, according to the criminal complaint.
