MADISON — Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) and Rep. Dean Knudson (R-Hudson) have announced a news conference set for Wednesday afternoon, October 7th at the Capitol to unveil legislation to overhaul the Government Accountability Board -- the nonpartisan board that oversees Wisconsin elections and ethics laws.
Vos has said he wants to split the board into two boards. One would handle elections. The other would handle ethics violations.
Both boards would be made up of partisan appointees.
